At the Cave de la Loterie, Régis AUBRY produces and processes apples and pears in organic farming. He welcomes you for tastings, tours and direct sales at the property.
Located on the slopes of Suisse Normande in Clécy, the Cave de la Loterie, created in 1999 by Régis AUBRY, produces and processes around thirty varieties of traditional and local apples and pears. With the takeover of 8 ha of low-stem orchards and the planting of 4 ha of high-stem apple trees, a first processing workshop was created. This is the start of direct selling.
From the start, part of the production is transformed into cider and apple juice. The range quickly expanded with the production of Pommeau, Perry and, of course, Calvados. Since 2009, all the orchards have been driven in Organic Farming: “this is the beginning of the conversion”. 3 years later, in October 2012, all the fruits of the Cidrerie were “organic”. This major stage also begins with a period of renewal in the orchards with new plantings every year and the constitution of a young pear orchard of 4 ha. Today, the farm has 23 ha of AB orchards and all the fruit is processed in the new buildings of the cider house.
Since 2013, you are therefore welcomed in our new store, where you can taste the fruit of our work, and discover other local flavors.
We invite you to come and discover our products all year round, and visit (by appointment) the new cider house, where you will be explained the route of the fruit, from the orchard, to the cellar in Calvados.

The visit of the Loterie Cellar takes place on the site and is followed by a tasting.
1 - Lasting 1 hour 30 minutes, it begins at the foot of one of the pear or apple orchards in order to explain its development throughout the year, from planting to harvest.
2 - In the production building, discovery of the manufacturing process of ciders, perry, apple juice ... (from fruit washing to bottling, including pressing of apples and pears and fermentation).
3 - Visit of the cellar: Aging of Calvados, the mutage of the Pommeau de Normandie and the pear dream.
4 - Tasting of Cellar products in the shop.
5 - Presentation of local products
